Glenlockhart in Oban is a traditional Scottish Bed & Breakfast which has been in the same family for over 50 years. A former farm house which was originally built around 1844 it has been upgraded and improved over the years. Fully double glazed and centrally heated we have two large bedrooms with king size beds, and a smaller queen sized room.
Freesat TV, hospitality tray and a hairdryer are provided in each room. Rates for a group taking the three rooms or longer stays are available on application. |

A separate lounge and dinning room is situated on the ground floor for the specific use of guests staying at Glenlockhart. We are happy to provide guests with a traditional Scottish breakfast or a Continental one if preferred. This includes homemade marmalade and bread. Parking is available to the rear of the house and Motorbikes are welcome. | |

The house is situated only 5 minutes walk from the main square of Oban.
The Tourist information office, the Railway Station, the Bus Terminal, and Ferry Terminal are only a short walk away. We are happy to provide any information required by guests about the local area. Oban is situated in the area known as Lorn and is steeped in history. Many famous clans are associated with the area and the offshore islands that can be seen from the town. Oban is the main ferry port on the West Coast of Scotland. |

The house has a strictly No Smoking code. We are sorry but we do not have facilities for credit card or cheque transactions and accept cash only. Any special requirements should be mentioned at the time of booking. Bookings can be made by phone or email and arrivals are normally after 16:00hrs. Rooms should be vacated by 10:30hrs on the morning of departure. Late arrivals after 18:00hrs must be notified to ensure the booking is kept. | |
